About Winsome Spiller
Winsome Spiller is an artist living and working in Naarm / Melbourne, Australia.
Her works span painting, installation, outdoor projects, digital images and objects.
Deeply committed to experimentation with materials and processes, her work often concerns the urban environment, history, landscape and natural processes - expressed in both non figurative and figurative ways.
Winsome holds a Bachelor of Fine Art (Honours, first class) from RMIT university and a Bachelor of Town and Regional Planning from the University of Melbourne.
Since 2004 she has held solo exhibitions in commercial and not for profit galleries and her works are held in private collections and the collection of Artbank.
Until recently she edited publications for an urban economics consultancy, and has also worked as a town planner.
